Unfortunately the Canon 70-200 f/4 L IS II and the original do not come with a tripod collar. I have both the f/4 L IS Mark II and the original. The new version is sharper through out and has more contrast. However the Version 1 was stellar when introduced and still holds its own. I also have the 70-200 f/2.8 L IS Mark II.
